Being Ryan Gosling is probably pretty dope. You spend all your days chilling with Eva Mendes, breaking up fights in spur of the moment acts of vigilanteism, saving random women from walking into oncoming traffic, and every night you open your window in what is probably a spacious and tastefully furnished apartment and listen for the air to fill up with cries of “Gosling, oh Gosling,” which happens right around 1:30 AM when all the girls get home from bars. Oh, and occasionally you appear in a pretty solid motion picture. But you know, maybe this coloring book is too much? LAist today pointed out this Ryan Gosling coloring book filled with black and white drawings of Gosling inspired by scenes from his movies and other images of the actor, that you can use to lovingly render Gosling in whatever shades you like. That’s cool, but maybe this should be the end of our culture’s very vocal obsession with Ryan Gosling. This is not to say that you should stop trying to get your boyfriend to wear those striped shirts Gosling is always wearing, just that this should be where the Gosling merchandise stops. Seriously, all dude needs is to get the lead in the 50 Shades of Grey movie before you can track him by following the path of fainting women.
