What is it about death that we find so intriguing? Max Snow‘s new exhibition ruminates over this question, with stark black and white images that are simultaneously beautiful and disturbing. From a nude woman holding a beer and smoking a cigarette while laying in a coffin, to a burning Swastika, Snow’s photographs confront taboo subjects that are at once mortal and mystical. Each photograph exposes the perversity that lies within the confrontations between life and death.
Exhibition at Galerie Serieuze Zaken in Amsterdam from May 13th – June 15th
