Yesterday, the Internet exploded when designer Marc Jacobs accidentally posted a nude selfie for his 201k Instagram followers, revealing his banging bum and just the tip of his (insert eggplant emoji, here).
But in 2015, these incidents have become so common, they’re almost as unsurprising as Donald Trump publicly flinging racist comments on live television. Jacobs, too, found the happening to be a bit of a yawn, offering a candid response that shut down the frenzy.
“Yeah. I accidentally posted a pic of my bare ass and took it down,” he wrote. “I was flirting with someone I met on Instagram. Meant to send it by DM. Oops, my mistake. I apologise to anyone it offended. I’m a gay man. I flirt and chat with guys online sometimes. BIG DEAL!”
