‘Mad Men”s Jessica Paré Guests at the Jesus and Mary Chain’s Toronto Show

+

If you don’t watch Mad Men not only are you missing out on one of the most gratifying experiences TV has to offer, but you’re also passing over fun cultural intersections when elements of the show clash with things that have nothing to do with 1960s Madison Avenue fat cats (which I guess you could say about anything on TV, but that doesn’t mean you should watch Supernatural). Last Friday when the Jesus and Mary Chain played Toronto’s Phoenix venue they could’ve probably asked any exceptionally hot girl in the crowd to assist them onstage, but Mad Men‘s Jessica Paré was the one they tapped for two songs; first assisting singer Jim Reid on vocals for “Just Like Honey and then singing the Hope Sandoval part in “Sometimes Always.” This or something like it was pretty much inevitable after “Zou Bisou Bisou” right? Hopefully for Harry Crane’s sake he didn’t say something stupid about Paré’s songstress turn at the office the next week. Watch the videos below.
