Celebrity offspring starring in fashion campaigns is nothing new. Hell, Gap’s whole entire ’90s capsule collection video was a rock star kid orgy. Even New York City streetwear brand, MadeMe, and Japanese cult clothing line, X-Girl, have done it before, featuring Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon’s daughter Coco in their debut collab imagery last year. But now they’ve really upped their game. For their sophomore collection, the brands have tapped Lourdes Leon to star in their latest campaign, lensed by Mayan Toledano. Of course, Lourdes, who apparently goes by Lola, looks super cool in X-Girl x MadeMe—she’s definitely come a long way from being Madonna’s seriously unibrow-ed daughter. Come on, I know you were thinking it, too. And MadeMe designer, Erin Magee, goes on to further cement Lourdes’ new cool girl status by talking about how “underground” and anti-Instagram she is to i-D, who also ensures us the photos capture Lourdes in her most natural element: Downtown. Gag. But hey, at least the collection looks cool—even if Lourdes has a Rolls Royce tattoo peeking out from under her hoodie.
