Louis C.K. went on the Opie and Anthony Show today to talk about, among other things, his first film, Tomorrow Night, which is online now, and the year in movies. You will be in no way surprised to know that he’s insightful and on point in his criticisms of films like Gravity.
“3-D Imax high is the best way to see a movie like Gravity” he says. “I didn’t like the performances… There’s no such thing as a reluctant astronaut… The other thing didn’t work out, so I’m an astronaut.”
Not how it works. You wouldn’t make it past 5 seconds of the interview at NASA he says.
“The best and greatest people alive do this.” All Is Lost comes under the gun as well, as C.K. finds the way Robert Redford handles being lost at sea less than believable. Forward ahead to 16:00 to hear the Gravity talk, and 44:00 where he talks about his ice fishing anecdote from American Hustle.
