The year is 2016 and you just can’t make this shit up: Lindsay Lohan is supplying Syrian refugees with energy drinks. Alrighty then.
Lohan recently went on a humanitarian visit to a refugee camp in Turkey, where she was, apparently, a big hit. LiLo held babies and even donned a doctor’s robe for the occasion. Presumably it was on that very trip that the actress-come-nightlife entrepreneur discovered what the refugees were missing: energy. Or, more importantly, energy drinks.
So Lohan will supply the camps with Mintanine, a German energy drink that will (surprise, surprise) also be offered at Lohan’s new Greek nightclub, Lohan.
“There’s hardly food, water or anything” else at the camp, a source close to Lohan tells Page Six. “So at this point, sending anything is helpful.” Can’t argue with that, I guess?
Meanwhile, Mintanine is marketed as a “blue caffeine lemonade,” even boasting the tagline “Blue tastes woohoo.” Woohoo indeed.
Oh Lindsay, never change.
