I’m the biggest cynical asshole I’ve ever met (see: everything I’ve ever written on this site). But man oh man, this remix of the late beloved PBS painter Bob Ross from PBS Digital Studios almost makes me want to open my heart to the magic of the universe. “Believe that you can do it, cause you can do it,” Ross sings here, sounding like a less-douchey version of the guy from the “Fireflies” song. (H/T)
I want to be a better man sometimes. Want to treat people better. Want to believe in my work. Want to believe in anything.
“Let’s build a happy little cloud.”
Why not? It’s our world, we’re the creators. We can do it you guys!
“I believe every day’s a good day when you paint. I believe it will bring a lot of good thoughts to your heart.”
Then again, that whole thing sounds like kind of a lot of work, and all these morons on the internet aren’t going to make fun of themselves. How about we’ll just pencil that attitude adjustment in for later in the week, and we’ll see if there’s time for it then.
