King Krule Announces New Multi-Disciplinary Project ‘A New Place 2 Drown’

King Krule’s Archy Marshall is in the holiday spirit and ready to give the world his biggest gift yet. Last week, he announced via Instagram his new multi-disciplinary project, A New Place 2 Drown, in collaboration with his brother Jack. ANP2D is a 208-page art book, published by Topsafe, chronicling the social and creative lives of the brothers in South London. It will feature poetry and photography from the duo, all made during summer 2014.

Accompanying the book is a 10-minute short film and 12-song soundtrack, slated for release Dec. 10 via True Panther Sounds. The film, directed by Will Robson Scott, provides an intimate glimpse into the brothers’ everyday lives. The trailer shows the pair getting haircuts from their mom, working on music, painting, playing soccer and smoking in the backyard.

Three tracks from the 37-minute soundtrack are available to stream right now on the project’s website. The songs feature Archy’s signature baritone, highlighting his evolved electronic production. Watch the project trailer, below:
