No. No, no, no. Kevin Spacey––the best creepy daddy actor of this century––is actually as bad IRL as the characters he’s played perfectly in American Beauty and House of Cards. This past Sunday, actor Anthony Rapp publicly accused Spacey of sexually harassing him in 1986, when he was 14 years old. Spacey was 26 at the time. Today, Spacey decided to come out as a gay man in the same breath that he apologized for that pedophilic assault thing that might have happened, over 30 years ago, when he was drunk… Which is like, a comically bad move on every single front.

It goes without saying that we all wanted to love Kevin Spacey forever. But it also goes without saying that sexual harassment, pedophilia, and couching your halfway apology in your coming out post is literally deplorable behavior. And if we’ve learned anything from Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein, or Donald Trump, we should expect for more Spacey allegations to come to light in the coming weeks. Sucks. House of Cards hasn’t been good since season two anyway, though. Bye Kevin!
