On the brink of announcing their forthcoming H&M collaboration, Kenzo has released a fashion film for their pre-fall ’16 collection, directed by Oliva Partel. Sun to Sun is a partially animated, feminist recreation of the classic Japanese folk tale, Momotarō, which originally centers on a popular Japanese hero. Recreated through various books, stories and films, the character Momotarō fights demons after coming to earth inside a giant peach. In Sun to Sun, we’re introduced to a similar protagonist, this time a badass chick who swings a baseball bat and fights crime with her all-girl biker gang. Watch the film, below.
