Kanye West Causes Apocalyptic Nightmare Situation Outside of Webster Hall

While most artists saw their scheduled Gov Ball performances cancelled yesterday due to a torrential downpour, Kanye West wasn’t about to let a little thing like the weather stop him from taking some stage, any stage. After all, Kanye West controls the weather, the weather does not control Kanye West.

So what does Kanye do? He throws together a “secret show” at 2AM that Virgil Abloh, his creative director, teases via social media. And while the actual location (Webster Hall) was never publicly disclosed, it didn’t take long for hoards of Kanye-obsessed zombies to descend upon the East Village venue, creating an apocalyptic-like nightmare. Seeing as Gov Ball sells about 45,000 tickets and the capacity of Webster Hall’s main ballroom is about 1,500, this should come as no surprise to anyone.

At around 1AM, Kanye tweeted that the 2AM show was “sold out” (though no one has yet to confirm or deny the actual existence of tickets). This was probably to deter even more humans from flooding the streets outside the venue.

Cut to 1:45AM and Webster Hall is tweeting that there is no show. Go home for the love of god, go home, before somebody’s killed.

It took a significant amount of law enforcement to break up the crowd. Some even suggested that police had used tear gas or pepper spray. Though the police denied this claim to CNN, the use of tear gas wouldn’t necessarily surprise me, as it’s quite clear that Kanye zombies don’t respond to simple reason:
