Yesterday’s much-discussed meeting between Donald Trump and Kanye West may have been more than just a fancy distraction from more pressing political issues or, as Trump claims, a chit chat about “life.” According to E!, the unholy union occurred because the rapper is being considered for an “entrepreneurial leadership role” in Trump’s administration in which he’d serve as an “ambassador of sorts.” According to the unidentified source, “Trump thinks he’s a great role model when it comes to business.” Right, because firing your entire team after you epically botch a fashion show is a great strategic business move.
Now I wouldn’t typically recommend getting your hot political tips from E!, but this is 2016 so who the hell knows anymore. Regardless, let’s go ahead and take this with a monstrous grain of salt and perhaps some prayers that this rumor is entirely false. It would be, however, in line with the fact that West now says he won’t be running for office until 2024, perhaps allowing for two Trump terms, during which West could learn the ropes by working closely with our President. Great.

Whether it’s true or not, joining Trump’s admin is definitely an appropriate move for someone who’s still recovering from a breakdown.
