The decision of whether or not to get an abortion when faced with an unwanted or surprise pregnancy is one of the toughest choices a woman ever has to make. Imagine how much worse it has to be when you suspect that you might be carrying the cherub-cheeked anti-Christ of #swag in your baby pouch? Pattie Mallette, mother of Justin Bieber, explained her struggle with, and relief that she didn’t ultimately go through with it in an interview with Today‘s Kathie Lee Gifford on today’s Today.
Pam Tebow, mother of one of the other harbingers of the apocalypse, Tim Tebow, aka the biceps of Christ, spoke about a similar struggle she faced last year, and boy howdy, are those two ladies probably happy they held onto to those zygotal lottery tickets.
Mallette said in the interview the first time she heard Bieber cry it was music to her ears, pinpointing the last time anyone has referred to her son as a musician of any kind. “I know this sounds crazy, but he sounded like he was singing. He did,” she said. “It was like this, like, ‘A hah, a hah.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, it is so precious and amazing. I just want to squeeze him.’ ” We all do, mom, we all do.
