James Franco’s Tim O’Keefe-Assisted Band Daddy Drops ‘Lime Green Dress’

In our eyes, James Franco has always been the ultimate DILF (sans kids), so it’s only fitting that he’s named his new music project, Daddy. Last month, the duo, composed of Franco and Tim O’Keefe (Franco’s old art school classmate), released their first track, “You Are Mine,” off a forthcoming debut album, and this week they dropped the follow-up, “Lime Green Dress.”

The track’s lyrics chronicle the fear of losing your innocence to the “bad boy,” which is probably referring to Franco. Though we kind of expected to hate it, Daddy is one of the best celebrity-led projects we’ve heard since Ryan Gosling’s 2009 effort Dead Man’s Bones. Daddy’s album, Let Me Get What I Want, named after and heavily influenced by the Smiths, is slated for release March 18 via Cobalt. Listen, below:
