As our nation’s greatest entertainment robot, James Franco is not happy unless he’s doing five things at once; so, right on time, he’s starting work on a new movie that he’s planning to direct. Oh No They Didn’t spotted a casting breakdown on Actor’s Access for a project with James Franco listed as the director, calling for “James Franco types” and “Lindsay Lohan types” at ages ”13, 21, 30, 45 and 60″ for each. The site also describes the piece as “a video/art project encompassing the life of two Hollywood celebrities.” So James Franco is making a movie about himself and Lindsay Lohan? Typically someone would wait for her to get a few more decades in, or at least to die young (which will hopefully not happen!), but not the Franco. He’s trying to assemble enough material for his multimedia Franco boxset encompassing his film work, his writing, and his music with Kalup Linzy/Selena Gomez covers, all by its 2014 release date; with that kind of schedule there’s just not enough time for Lohan’s life to naturally find some narrative context. Bets on the title: Freaks and Chics, Kombucha Express, Celebrity: Full Loaded.
