Jaden Smith may be good at comparing himself to famous philosophers and dressing up like Batman, but one thing he’s awful at is having good taste in movies. In fact, Smith’s taste in movies is so laughable, it almost makes me question his taste in clothing (*removes batman costume, lights batman costume on fire*).
In a simple tweet, Smith revealed this defect, naming mediocre sci fi romance The Age of Adeline “the best movie he’s ever seen.” But that’s not all. He adds the caveat “except Twilight.”
The Age Of Adaline Might Be The Best Movie I’ve Ever Seen, Excluding Twilight.

And this isn’t the first time Smith has professed his love for that shitty vampire movie; back in 2012 he claimed to watch it every single night. If he’s watching Twilight every night, where does he find the time to build pyramids, start clothing lines and write philosophy books?
I Watch Twilight Every Night

Now, there is an alternate explanation for Smith’s awful taste in movies. If you examine the wording of the tweet (because I know you have nothing better to do), you’ll notice that he calls The Age of Adeline (which, by the way, features an immortal Blake Lively) “the best movie he’s ever seen” and not “the best movie ever.” When we consider that fact in conjunction with the knowledge that Smith watches Twilight every single evening, I think we can safely assume that Twilight and The Age of Adeline are the only films Jaden Smith has ever seen.
