This fall marks the tenth anniversary of Elliott Smith’s suicide, which will be an especially sad time for his legion of fans. Aside from every other moment of their normal everyday lives, I mean. Smith would have turned 44 this week, and a group of fans and collaborators have been celebrating his life and music, including a series of shows like this one in New York.
