Blur, the third best Brit Pop band of all time (no arguments), have a new album on the way. The band announced the news during a press conference on Facebook today, along with news that they’ll be playing at Hyde Park in London once again in June.
The Magic Whip is a series of songs the band began recording back in 2013 in Hong Kong, but were never finished until Graham Coxon dug back into the tracks with uber producer Stephen Street.
The first track, “Go Out”, is in the classic, wry, detached Blur mode. Check it out below.
