The Emmys happened. They were on TV last night. All sorts of awards were handed out. It was a whole thing. Among the big winners were Breaking Bad, which is good, and Modern Family, which is eternally perplexing. Everyone’s favorite meth-addled drama took home wins for best drama series, best actor for Bryan Cranston, and supporting wins for both Anna Gunn and Aaron Paul.
Juliana Margulies won for The Good Wife, which is apparently a show that is still on somehow, while The Big Bang Theory also pulled in wins for Who Gives a Shit McGee. Louis C.K. won for writing in a comedy series, which is nice, because it’s probably been a while since anyone has told him he is good. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman of Sherlock won things, as did Fargo, which you should watch. That’s my hot TV take.
Otherwise, nothing much else happened on the show (guessing), besides this moment of erotic fan-fic come to life, with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Bryan Cranston making out via the Telegraph.
