Guys, the gender binary is so 2015, so it’s unsurprising that Louis Vuitton tapped Jaden Smith to be the face of their spring/summer 2016 womenswear campaign. It was a clever move, both because it prompts posts such as this and because the young philosopher and Twilight enthusiast has never looked cooler, not even when he wore that batsuit to Kim and Kanye’s wedding.
Artistic director Nicholas Ghesquiere shared the campaign, which was shot by Bruce Weber. Jaden dons a white fringe top, a leather moto jacket I want but cannot afford and a pleated skirt. He’s joined by models du jour Sarah Donnealia, Rianne van Rompaey and Jean Campbell, but Smith really steals the show.

Yes, the most out-of-the-box teen on the planet looks totally at home in womenswear (and it’s not like it’s the first time he’s rocked a skirt or dress – he even wore one to prom), but does this mean an influx of regular dudes be rocking skirts come spring? Here’s hoping for a drafty year.
