Hillary Clinton, like President Obama before her, sat down with America’s hardest-hitting interviewer, Zach Galifianakis, to feel the harsh, confining pressure of the titular two ferns. Things get off to a bad start when Zach tries to sneak up her. “Not a good idea around the Secret Service,” she jokes. For the most part, Hillary handles it well, opting to go extremely dry to all of his goofy questions. Questions like:
Are you excited to be the first girl president?
When you see how well it works for Donald Trump do you ever think to yourself, Oh maybe I should be more racist?
I’d love to meet the person who makes your pants suits. For Halloween I want to go as a librarian from outer space.
He does get in a few digs though, like asking how he can get in touch with her (email?).
The most notable line comes when he asks what she thinks Trump will be wearing at the debate.
“I assume he’ll wear that red power tie.”
“Or maybe like a white power tie,” he says.
“That’s even more appropriate.”
