If you’re having a problem smiling at the beginning of this work week, newfangled rap group Three Loco is here for you. Consisting of celebrated MCs Riff Raff, Andy Milonakis, and Dirt Nasty (AKA actor Simon Rex) the group premiered “We Are Farmers,” which contains the best possible sample of the Farmers Insurance jingle, on Vice today. Yeah, the Derek DJA Allen-produced track is pretty much what you would expect from a song featuring Andy Milonakis, Riff Raff, Dirt Nasty, and Diplo; Andy Milonakis unnecessarily pluralizes “molly” to great effect, Riff Raff implants in your mind the growing awareness that he references food in his lyrics a lot, while Diplo surprisingly doesn’t embarrass himself, because his normal speaking voice is kind of rap-appropriate by itself (compare please to Simon Rex). Also, can someone who’s actually been out at the same place as Diplo verify whether or not he arrives to the club on a school of seals? Is that even the word you use to refer to a group of seals?  Ah, apparently the collective noun for seals is a “harem.” One can see why Diplo might have wanted to avoid that word.
