Hackers Threaten to Expose 37 Million Scumbags Using Cheating Site Ashley Madison

+

Ashley Madison, a website for cheating scumbag losers, was hacked, meaning that 37 million user profiles are at risk of being exposed.

The hacking group, which goes by the name The Impact Team, weaseled their way into Avid Life Media’s systems (they also run Cougar Life and Established Men… real classy joint). The Impact Team simply demands that both Ashley Madison and Established Men be taken down. Apparently the hackers aren’t concerned with how slimy the services these websites offer are, but rather the fact that they have lied about the strength of their security.

Meanwhile, Avid Life has released an apology statement, adding “At this time, we have been able to secure our sites, and close the unauthorized access points. We are working with law enforcement agencies, which are investigating this criminal act. Any and all parties responsible for this act of cyber–terrorism will be held responsible.”

But if The Impact Team has already saved the information, that’s pretty worthless stuff. This is truly the work of Batman; any website whose tagline is “Life is Short. Have an Affair,” is just asking for vigilante justice.
