Grimes had a big week, releasing seven music videos—four from her 2015 album, Art Angels, and three for tracks by best friend and frequent collaborator, HANA. All shot this summer by Grimes’ brother Mac Boucher, the videos show the synth-pop songstress with HANA in different locations across Europe, during The AC!D REIGN Tour.

Sporting a short bleached bob and wild red curls, Grimes dances in videos for “Butterfly,” “World Princess Part II,” “Scream (featuring Aristophanes),” and “Belly of the Beat,” as well as HANA’s “Chimera,” “Underwater,” and “Avanlanche.” Released individually and collected in a 38-minute film, The AC!D Reign Chronicles, their “guerilla style” videos were shot entirely on Mac’s iPhone.
“This summer I brought my brother Mac and my best friend Hana on tour and we shot a bunch of music videos,” said Grimes. “These 7 videos were shot over a 2 week period throughout Europe during The AC!D REIGN Tour. They are guerilla style vids a la realiti, so there was no crew, makeup, cameras, lights. Just us and a phone, so maybe don’t expect anything too fancy. That said, we’re really proud of what we made.”
