Gorillaz Are Bringing a Haunted House to Brooklyn

+

Unless you lack WiFi and have never been inside a coffee shop, everyone knows Gorillaz are dropping an album—and we couldn’t be more excited. But now the cartoon band is doubling up and giving us a real life haunted house, months before Halloween. Inspired by their new Saturn Barz (Spirit House) VR preview, the group has teamed up with Sonos to present a series of spirit houses across Brooklyn, Amsterdam and Berlin. Described as “immersive high fidelity happenings” in “raw spaces,” the multimedia IRL experiences will include music, interactive installations and digital projections starting April 21 at Industria Brooklyn. Gorillaz might even make an appearance.

“Come and bathe in high-tech sound, feast on unearthly visuals and let the experience take you on the ultimate trip,” said Gorillaz bassist, Murdoc.

Entry is free, but you have to RSVP here. We already have. And while you count down the days, watch the Spirit House teaser on repeat, below.
