Boy George, am I right?!
At a time that’s bleak and unsettling, it’s comforting to remember that Boy George is a human being that exists. I dare you to be sad while you listen to “Karma Chameleon.” For those reasons and so many more, it’s a dream come true that Dior Homme creative director Kris Van Assche tapped the pop icon for the brand’s spring campaign. You just know Marc Jacobs is kicking himself for not thinking of this first.
All hyperbole aside, we need what Boy George now more than ever. He’s someone that’s steadfastly himself; queer, bizarre and singular. Shot by Willy Vanderperre, this modernized, fashun Boy George has never looked better.
Also appearing in the campaign are A$AP Rocky (fine, I guess) and Rami Malek (yasssss). Dior, as per usual, is slaying.
