Since starting in 2004, L.A.’s FYF Fest has come a long way. For one thing, it’s not called the Fuck Yeah Fest anymore (although we wouldn’t be opposed if it was). For another, it’s no longer an indoor affair at a medium-sized club—its first iteration was held at the Echo—but a two-day, outdoor music extravaganza that features major headliners like Phoenix, The Strokes, and Grimes. We have a full report from this weekend’s festivities coming to you soon, but for now check out this portrait gallery of some of the artists who played this year’s festival, shot beautifully by Myles Pettengill. Scroll down to see them all.
