Summer is on it’s way to New York—the temperature is rising and festivals are slowly announcing their lineups. This year, we’re headed to Full Moon—an independent festival on New York City’s Governor’s Island that doubles as the summer’s biggest party. Now in it’s seventh year, Full Moon offers a boutique approach to the festival experience, fusing gourmet food with all of today’s hottest acts in one night of raging under the New York City skyline. Featuring Vic Mensa, Mr. Fingers, Kelela, DJ Harvey, Abra and more, this year’s lineup is even better than the last. And with previous acts like Santigold, SBTRKT and Yelle, that’s pretty hard to do.
Presented by MATTE Projects, Full Moon fuses “cultural sensibility” with an effortless “New York swagger” to curate a one-a-kind party modeled after monthly raves in Thailand. Even though you’re in New York, you’ll feel like you’re Bangkok moshing by the water. And if a solid lineup isn’t enough to get you out of your air-conditioned apartment, Full Moon also offers food from some of Manhattan’s coolest eateries, with past catering including Tacombi and Camal.
So, meet us at Full Moon on July 8. And while you countdown the days, buy your tickets, here.
