“According to sources”, Variety reports, a “Full House” remake/reboot/revival/reanimated corpse-type scenario could be in the works. Maybe! Maybe not, but also maybe. “While nothing is set in stone,” they write (including life as we know it), “there’s been talks at Warner Bros. Television about bringing back the sitcom, and some of its original cast, for a revival nearly 20 years after the long-running ABC show had its finale.”
Some of the cast!
Apparently noticing that the reruns of the feel-good family sitcom on Nick at Nite, which aired concurrently with my trip through puberty from 1987-1995, are still at an impressive 1.5 million viewers, WB are doing the natural thing and letting it be. Haha just kidding, they’re going to inject this thing full of botulism, attach electrodes to its tits, and wait for a lightning strike to get this monster up off the gurney.
On the plus side, John Stamos, reportedly interested in making this happen, is 51 years old, but still doesn’t look a day over 30.
Maybe they should just start airing episodes of “Sad Full House” instead?
