Zombies are relentless, and they will ruin your day. The most we could hope for, when presented with zombie apocalypse, is to lock the doors and hope for death since any hope of forming a Walking Dead-like post-society commune would likely fall apart once all of the little problems began to pop up. (Like, where do you replenish contact solution?) A savior, then, might come from the supernatural: in the clip for Sufjan Stevens’ “Mr. Frosty Man,” a radioactively-born snowman is the only hope a sleepy little town has to escape a zombie crisis without losing their heads or guts. Rendered in claymation by animator Lee Hardcastle, the video’s a pretty amusing romp that imagines Frosty as the second coming of Evil Dead‘s Ash, and even finds space for a Santa cameo. It’ll get you in the holiday spirit: Christmas is only a couple of months away, though we’ll probably have to wait a few years for the zombies to rise.
