Frances Bean Cobain, heiress to the grunge-rock royal throne, has released some of her artwork online. Daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, Frances is a multimedia artist whose work ranges from dark to grotesque. The pieces, available for $200 to $350, feature disfigured monsters and abstract scenery.
Cobain first debuted her art back in 2010, with a G.G. Allin-inspired exhibition at Los Angeles’ La Luz Gallery under the pseudonym, “Fiddle Tim.” Since then, she’s maintained a pretty low profile, save for a photoshoot she did with YSL’s former Creative Director, Hedi Slimane, as well as a few public spats with Lana Del Ray and Kendall Jenner. For awhile, there were rumors circulating that Ms. Cobain was starting her own band with soon-to-be ex-husband, Isaiah Silva, but as of now, the Nirvana progeny is sticking to visual art.
