Just when I had come to terms with Vetements’ $1,000 hoodies and $2,000 bombers, they go ahead and drop a $3,600 parka and I literally cannot even.
A collaboration with Canada Goose (whose parkas typically range from around $700 – $900) the item in question looks a hell of a lot like a regular Goose, albeit with oversized proportions (duh), a high collar (as opposed to a hood) and, in some cases, flaps that can be worn up or down to make it either bomber or coat length. Oh, and the camo one is reversible… so I guess it’s kind of like two jackets?
I don’t know, guys. Unless you’re living in a fashionably freezing place where this item can be worn all year round, I’m not sure I’m sold on the practicality of this purchase. But then again, I guess Vetements’ whole “thing” is offering the most practical clothing for the least practical prices.
Anyway, if you have $3,600 to burn, you can get yours Vetements x Canada Goose parka here.
