When Warren Beaty and Faye Dunaway accidentally presented La La Land with best picture, there was one man who was even happier than the Moonlight team: Steve Harvey. At last, Harvey, who famously crowned the wrong woman while hosting the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, was not alone. This morning he took to twitter to reach out to Beaty:
Call me Warren Beatty. I can help you get through this! #Oscars

Jimmy Kimmel may have personally blamed Harvey for this very public fail, but in reality it was those dum dums at PwC (and definitely not Warren Beaty. Leave Warren Beaty alone). But rather than show empathy for another actor going through something both embarrassing and potentially dangerous (Harvey had to beef up his security after receiving several death threats in the wake of his Miss Universe incident), Harvey seems purely, perhaps inappropriately, ecstatic. “Free at last! Free at last! Thank God almighty, I am free at last,” he exclaimed this morning on his KJLH-FM morning show.
Meanwhile, Miss Universe is similarly pleased that another major televised projection took a massive L. Misery loves company.
