@S_C_, the verified Twitter account of rap game plutocrat Jay-Z, is followed by nearly 3 million people, but until today had barely tweeted but 50 times, and sometimes not for months at a time, with just a few bursts of activity between late 2011 and 2013. But for the last hour, either Hov or someone who’s hacked into his Twitter has taken to responding to his followers’ questions by way of retweeting them along with his answer and a hashtag that’s destined to live in Twitter infamy: #mylaugh, which he’d originally typed out as *my laugh. (As in, imagine him doing his big, earnest laugh at the end of every answer.) It’s bizarre because he’s never used such a venue to be a man of the people before, and because his answers sound remarkably… real, if it’s him and not someone’s idea of an endearing joke.
