Like many of you, I’ve been watching this whole series of Dennis Rodman in North Korea adventures play out as our first baby steps toward the inevitable election of President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho. In the meantime, in the somewhat sane world we still live in, Rodman has been criticized for his trips to the isolated country, and his friendship with its leader Kim Jong Un (who, by the way, did not feed his uncle to starving dogs).
But set aside the way he delivers his testy defense in the video below, and consider one of the decent points Rodman makes. It’s about using sports to open doors around the world, he says. “We have struggles around the world, but when the Olympics come around, there’s no problems,” he says. “It’s all about the game… [people love sports.]”
