Italian artist Frederico Babina’s latest set of illustrations brings his overarching architectural metaphor to the world of film, designing a series of homes that correspond to the distinct styles of 27 different directors. (He’s done previous experiments with the world of music, art and others).
“Directors are like the architects of cinema,” he says.
“They are those that build stories that like buildings envelop the viewer and carry it in a different world. Each with their own style, language and aesthetics, think, plan design and build places and stories that host us for the duration of the movie.”
