Carly Rae Jepsen Is Doing the Theme Song For the New ‘Full House’

Seeing how there’s no pop culture property that can’t be resuscitated, no matter how long-festering its corpse, the news that Netflix would be launching a Full House spin-off, Fuller House, should come as no surprise. The series, which reunites Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber, will premiere in February. So far so good, nostalgia-wise. But what about the show’s beloved theme song, you might have been wondering, were you the type of person with a lot of time on your hands. Turns out that’s getting an upgrade to, in the form of one Ms Carly Rae Jepsen. The singer announced last week that she’s recorded a new version of “Everywhere You Look” with producer Butch Walker. If everything else Jepsen has done this year is any indication, it will be beloved by music critics everywhere, and almost no one else.
