H&M Sport released its latest activewear collection, with a video campaign starring Caitlyn Jenner. The ad, titled “For Every Victory,” showcases a number of boundary-breaking athletes, including surfer Mike Coots, who has a prosthetic leg, Cuba’s first female boxer, Namibia Flores, and an all-girl skateboard crew wearing hijabs under their helmets, as Jenner tells her own story. After a montage of athletic triumphs from the cast, the video features footage of Jenner, pre-transition, at the Olympics, before showing her now, in an all-black outfit from the collection.
“I thought it was too late,” she says. “I thought the goal was too far away. I felt like I couldn’t do it alone or with the entire world watching my every step.”
She continues, “Nothing came easy, but nothing truly important ever does,” adding, “To keep going no matter what the obstacles, is what victory looks like—whether you’re representing your country or yourself.”
The “For Every Victory” line consists mostly of black separates, with a few color pieces thrown in. Available now, you can buy the collection in stores and online. Watch the video, below.
