Earlier this month, Pride took on new meaning when Orlando’s Pulse nightclub fell victim to America’s deadliest mass shooting to date. The tragic night, which catered specifically to Latinx clubgoers, not only robbed the local community of a safe queer space, but it ricocheted across the world as a solemn reminder of how important it is to support and protect our marginalized brothers and sisters. While the LGBTQ community has come a long way, there are still major steps that need to be taken to promote acceptance and ensure no human is treated as an Other.
We’ve teamed up with Baby’s All Right to create a night fully dedicated to the victims and families of Pulse. On June 29, join us for a Benefit Concert with a LGBTQ-friendly lineup—DeSe, Joey Labeija, Ahsh Eff, Banjee Report, Macy Rodman and Jay Boogie—where all door proceeds will go directly to those affected by the Florida shooting.
