We were given ear pieces for Morning Joe. It gave us comedic material for a solid 2 hours. We could hear what was happening 7 seconds in the future. Can you imagine how life changing that is?!

Look at those sweet faces! You can hardly imagine they are critics.

This Friday, Short Term 12 hits select theaters. What’s Short Term 12? Oh, just one of the best movies of the year, nbd. The nano-budget indie, written and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, took the 2013 SXSW Film Festival by storm when it racked up the Grand Jury Narrative Feature Award and Narrative Audience Award, and made its lead actress, Brie Larson, an indie star. Larson plays a supervisor at a foster care facility who tries to help some troubled kids while dealing with her own tangled issues. The film deftly balances realistic humor with gut-punch drama, and serves as the best digestif after a summer of big-screen junk food. Larson, who’s been promoting the movie non-stop around the world, documented her travels using a Lomography camera, and was sweet enough to share her adventures with us, from cronuts, to doppelgangers, to some Morning Joe.
