Sounds like somebody’s “Crazy In Love” with herself! A ton of recording artists like Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Snoop Lion have been getting in on the “documentary about me,” action lately, and it looks like Beyonce is ready to be the next start to hit your local cineplex. The LA Times is reporting that the singer is in the process of shopping a documentary about herself to studios. What’s more is that Beyonce plans to direct and produce the doc as well. The movie is apparently a combination of performance and personal exposition about the singer’s life, blending concerts with confessional interview (which sort of sounds like it’ll be fashioned after MTV’s reality programming but whatever). Well Beyonce fans, get excited; the flick sounds like a regular Hoop Dreams, but this still falls short of what Beyonce has to know the fans really want; a theatrical release of Carmen: A Hip Hopera. Cause even in 2001, your home TV set wasn’t enough to contain the starpower of Beyonce.
