In a somewhat unsurprising move, Beyoncé and Jay-Z endorses Hillary Clinton for president on Friday. The duo appeared as part of a rally held in Cleveland meant to encourage voter turnout in the key swing state of Ohio, where the latest polls have Clinton holding an exceptionally slim lead over Donald Trump. Big Sean, J. Cole and Chance the Rapper also appeared on stage to lend their support.

“There was a time when a woman’s opinion did not matter. If you were black, white, Mexican, Asian, Muslim, educated, poor or rich, if you were a woman, it did not matter,” Beyoncé said, in explaining why she was “with her.”
“Less than 100 years ago, women did not have the right to vote. Look how far we’ve come from having no voice to being on the brink of making history, again, by electing the first woman president. But we have to vote.”
Trump immediately criticized Clinton the language used by Jay-Z.
“He used every word in the book last night,” Trump said. “He used language last night that was so bad and then Hillary said, ‘I did not like Donald Trump’s lewd language.’ My lewd language. I tell you what, I’ve never said what he said in my life.”
