Although we all know she’s a musician, it seems that Lady Gaga’s sartorial bravado often speaks louder than her music. It should come, then, as no surprise that the pop icon has teamed up with one of the most esteemed high-street fashion retailers to spread holiday cheer this season. With the unveiling of “Gaga’s Workshop,” Barneys New York will transform an entire floor of their Madison Avenue flagship into a Santa’s workshop—er, Gaga’s workshop. With Gaga’s vision, Nicola Formichetti‘s creative direction, and a collaboration with assume vivid astro focus artists’ (asaf) Eli Sudbrack and Christophe Hamaide Pierson, Barneys will open its doors to Little Monsters late the evening of November 21. Barneys will donate 25 percent of all sales to the Born This Way Foundation, Gaga’s recently launched effort to combat bullying and low self-esteem.
