A mirror reflecting back the thorny brush of the forest and the emptiness of a vast desert. A man and a woman, isolated, contemplating their own appearances. The imagery in the video for “If We Have Time” goes a long way toward capturing the feeling of the lovelorn song, the latest from the Australian duo Two People.
“The feeling is wide. The sounds are physical,” the group’s Phoebe Lou says, when relaying the feeling of the video. “The thoughts are rough and twisted. The emotion is heavy and begging to reach up. The picture is a reflection.”
“Take it or leave it,” she sings. Pretty easy decision.
