Ariana Grande Shares Snippet of Single, ‘Focus,’ Belts With Mouth Full of Peanut Butter

+

Okay, so maybe the 22-year-old pop songstress didn’t actually release a snippet of her singing with a mouth full, but it sure as hell sounds like Ariana Grande loaded up a few spoonfuls of Peanut Butter before recording this teaser of her forthcoming single, “Focus.”

Seriously, we’d pay someone big bucks to decipher the track’s lyrics without looking at the caption Grande so graciously provided. She sings, as always, in a dramatic Mariah Carey karaoke-style tenor without any consideration for enunciation. “I know you’re hoping that I’ll react,” Grande murmurs with Skippy seemingly cemented to the roof of her mouth. “I know you’re hopin I’m looking back, but if my real ain’t real enough, then I dunno what is.”

The My Everything  singer is obviously insanely talented, but it’d suit her well for someone on her team to look her directly in the eyes and confidently scream, “Ariana, I’m sorry, but WHAT in God’s name are you saying?” Listen to the sneak peek below, but prepare to painfully furl your brows and mouth “WTF” a few too many times.
