Canadian pop export Allie X is still rightfully hustling her criminally underrated debut album CollXtion I, giving her buzz single, “Bitch,” some extra support with a fresh FOXTROTT remix and newly debuted visual. Directed by Phoebe Greenberg, Renata Morales and George Fok, the three-minute masterpiece features the singer in a number of incredible looks, per usual, and a lineup of bizarre environments.
In one scene, Allie X appears trapped inside a bird cage, as masked figures begin feeding her mayonnaise through a tube; in another, she sits comfortably, surrounded by dozens of headless baby dolls all manically twisting and twirling, as if pulled from a nightmare. Toward the end, we briefly see the “Catch” crooner spinning violently with her shadow—an unusual motif lifted from her comic, The Story of X: Chapter One.
