Glee began its fifth season yesterday, and from the start, way back in 2009, Kevin McHale has been there. As the token “nerd” Artie Abrams, McHale has had the distinction of being confined to a wheelchair for the show’s entirety, meaning he’s missed out on some of the show’s trademark dance routines, an irony not lost on someone with his dance background. But enough about Glee. What about McHale himself? Who is he? What does he dream about? What are his memories? And what does he fear? We asked him some simple questions about life in general in the hopes of finding out some very complicated answers, if that makes sense.
